Santa came early

So Santa stopped by our house a little early this year. Thanks Dad and Pat.

The old stove in out kitchen was so flaky. some times only one burner would work, on a good day you could get two. Another big problem is the old stove was way smaller then a standard stove.

the old one was 27"wide new standard stoves are 30"wide, also new stoves are about 3" deeper too.

so out came the power tools

turns out the only thing holding the stove in place was 30 something years of dust and grease. just slid out.







time to start chopping

slid the new one in




due to the new stove being much deeper, I had to chop the back of the cabinet out. I still need to build a box around the back, but it is in and works.
